Hello everybody,
it's been a while since I last posted something in my blog. I've been having a lot on my plate lately, from stay at home mom to start working, and now I'm going back to college to get my Certified Public Accountant certification, so I don't have a lot of time left to scrap.

So today I got a little time and got inspired by sketch 265 of Pencil Lines and their guest designer Morag that created a beautiful page. So I got really creative with the sketch and got a few ideas from Morag's page that make me really happy with the page that I made.

The star in my page is my daughter Lola. I took that picture while she was asking when we were going to leave the house. She was already dress up and ready to go but I haven't finished so she was like, "mommy are we leaving yet?"and I was like "in a minute baby" so she gave me this adorable face like "you already said "in a minute" like ten times already"

I hope you like my page. I hope next time in won't take me this long!

Hello Everybody;
After a month without posting, here I go again! I'm having a lot of changes in my life that I had to deal with and some changes that I'm still dealing with but here I am. Working on my hobby and trying to stay sane ;)
There is another sketch for you to play with on Sketch Along Tuesdays @ Frosted Designs. I'm the proud maker od the sketch. Is a very wimsical, elegant sketch. I love it so much I didn't change much! The Reason

Hello everybody;

Today I'm sharing with you a page that I made of my kids.

The title is "The Reason" Because they are my reason to live.

As simple as that. They are my everything.

When things get ugly, one look at them and I know\why I have to keep up

and look forward. Because they are the reason.

I used The title inspired by the song of the same title from the band Hoobastank.

I know that the lyrics are more from a cheating lover, but I really like the chorus:

I found a reason for me

to change how I used to be

a reason to start over new

and the reason is you.

Like the songs says, they are my reason to change to be a better person.

the reason to fight everything and everybody.

sometimes we take thing for granted and we don't see

the beauty around us and the miracle of life.

I used this saying as my inspiration to create my page using this weeks sketch.

I see the miracle of life when I look at my children.

Little Things

Hello everybody

I like to live my life a day at a time and enjoy the little thins in life.

Well I found a word art at Ginger's House about little things.

"It's the Little things in life that matters"

I love this saying, and found a great picture of my kids for that title.

I enjoy those little things, like the smile that Ian gives me every time I serve him his fruit, or the way Lola claps after finishing all her supper. Also the way Ian sucks his thumb when we is sleepy or the way Lola giggles every time I do funny faces. Those little things that make your day whole.

have I told you that I'm in love with my baby boy? No? Well Ian Andrés is the love of my life and his sister too. But Ian is such a cuddly boy, when Lola was his age she was so independent and did everything for herself, but with Ian is so different he is always by my side, always sits on my lad or want me to hold him. He is my baby and I love him so much.

Hello everybody, today I'm sharing with you a page that I made for a blog that I found through the internet. The blog is Once Upon a... Sketch. This blog gives you a sketch and a few guidelines to write the journaling. This is my page.

Así que ¿cuán importante fue el año 2009 para mi? Pues en marzo tranplantaron a mi papá de riñón luego de 10 años en dialisis. En ese mismo mes me entero que estoy embarazada de mi segundo hijo. En abril Lola cumplió su primer añito. En Junio me gradué de la universidad y en noviembre nació Ian Andrés. Un año lleno de bendiciones y momentos hermosos.

So how important was the year 2009 for me? Well... in March my father had a kidney transplant after 10 years in dialysis. I also found out I was pregnant with my second child. In April we celebrated Lola's first birthday. On June I graduated from College and on November my son Ian Andrés was born. Great year full of blessings and beautiful memories.

Mi página es para recordar como celebramos el nuevo año de 2006. Siempre lo pasaba en familia y una vez terinaba de celebrar con ellos me iba a casa de mi mejor amiga Angeliz para celebrar con mis amistades el nuevo año. Siempre era muy divertido pasarla con ellas, mucha comida, baile pero sobre todo una gran compañía.

Hola chicas, hoy les comparto una página que hice de Lola. Una de las cosas con la que más tengo problemas es con los títulos y journaling. Pues muchas veces uso fotos que queo son bonitas pero no tienen una historia detrás de la misma. Pues lo que he encontrado que me ayuda mucho es usar frases o citas. Ahora se me hace más fácil buscar un título para este tipo de fotos.

Hello everybody, here is a page that I made of Lola. One of the things that I struggle while scrapbooking is with Titles and journals. Sometimes you have pictures that are pretty but doesn't have a story about them. Well I have found a great way to solve this problem, I use phrases or quotes. Now this help me a lot with that kind of pictures.

Everyday I am reminded of the wonderful difference you have made in my life.

Hola Chicas, hoy tenemos un nuevo reto en Easy Craft Projects y el tema es:

AMARILLO

Creé una página sobre mi. Usando una foto de cuando tenía 20 años y creía que era indestructible jajajaja. Pero había algo que siempre me decía a mi misma y era: sé tu misma. En ese aspecto era la mejor. Nunca dejé que me manipularan las amistades ni seguía la corriente, todo lo contrario, bailaba al ritmo de mi propio tambor. Si nadie quería ir al cine yo iba sola. Si encontraba una restaurante interesante y nadie me quería acompañar me iba sola. No dejé que nada ni nadie me atara, siempre fuí fiel a mi misma, diciendo lo que pensaba y haciendo lo que me dictara mi corazón. Aunque cometí errores y me tropecé varias veces, sinto orgullo al decir que siempre fuí yo misma.

I made a page about myself. I used a picture when I was 20 years old and I thought I was indestructible hahaha.But I always told myself: be yourself. In that aspect I excelled. I never let my friends put pressure on me , I always swam against the tide; I march at the rhythm of my own drum. If none of my friends wanted to go to the movies or a different restaurant I went alone. I never let nothing or nobody to stop me, I said what was oin my mind and did what my heart told me. Even though I made mistakes, I feel pride that I was always myself.

A Perfect Day

Today is an open challenge at Sketches in Thyme. I create my page using

Sketch #78 of Inspired Blueprints.

I made this page of a perfect day with my kids. That perfect day involves a tons of playtime, watching cartoons and cooking together. Those are the perfect days that I want them to remember when the grow up. so here is the page i created. The pictures are from August 2nd, 2011.

I used My Minds Eye newest collection of Lost and Found two. I have to tell you that I'm not a yellow person, But this "Sunshine"collection was a must, Since I only have the traditional colors, working with this so different made my day super fun. I love the end result, sometimes we have to cross or boundaries and experiment with things that aren't our normal choices. So go find a great sketch and start creating using things you don't normally use and see what you come up with!!!

Lluvia, unos dicen que como las lágrimas purifican el alma, la lluvia purifica la tierra y nos trae paz. A mi me encanta la lluvia, desde verla caer hasta mojarme en ella, me encanta el olor de la lluvia, si ese olor a tierra húmeda. Hoy les comparto una página titulada lluvia. Son unas fotos de mi hija Lola que quería jugar en la lluvia pero estaba enferma para hacerlo así que le dí su paraguas y la observé jugar.

Rain, some say that like tears cleans the soul, rain purifies the earth and brings us peace. I love the rain, so watch it fall or so get wet on it, I love the smell of rain, that particular smell of wet ground. Today I'm sharing with you a page titled Rain. The pictures are from my daughter Lola, she wanted to play in the rain put she was sick, so I let her go out with her umbrella and watcher play.

Como saqué varias fotos y todas me gustaron hice un mini album dentro de la página.

That day I took a lot of pictures so I made a mini album in the page.

Como bien dice el journal, tan delicada la lluvia y tiene el poder de cortar y transformar rocas, así quiero que sea mi hija, delicada, humilde y suave, pero que sea determinada, persistente y dedicada.

Like the journal says, that the soft rain can cut and transforms rocks, That's who I want my daughter to grow. Soft, delicate and humble but also, determined, persistent and devoted.

Hola chicas, sigo tratando de poner al día todos los trabajos del PRSE 2011, pues todavía tengo proyectos del evento del año pasado sin terminar :( Pues como dicen por acá, entre col y col una lechuguita. Así que entre mis creaciones para los grupos que pertenezco , saco un tiempo para terminar los proyectos pendientes. Esta vez les comparto un mini album de la clase de Donna Downey. Es un canvas y las técnicas eran de masking y estampado. Así que hoy celebrando mis 26 años hice el mini sobre mi y las cosas que me gustan.

Hello everybody, here I'm to finish the unfinished projects form the Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event 2011, since I still haven't finish the ones from 2010 :( So In between my work for the design teams I work with, I'm working on the projects from the event. Here is a mini album form the class of Donna Downey. Is a canvas album and the techniques we used were masking ans stamping. So since today I'm celebrating my 26 b-day I made this mini album about me and the things I like.

Me gusta mucho este mini, pues tiene fotos de muchas cosas personales, como por ejemplo cuando me hice mi primer tatuaje a los 19 años, mi primer carro que lo pagué yo solita, mi actor y música preferida como HIM y Linkin Park. También añadí un recuerdo muy importante que era donde me iba a Walgreens de madrugada y me compraba un nesquik con un lunchable y me sentaba en el bonete del carro a leer la última cosmopólitan. Estos recuerdos son los que quiero compartir con mis hijos que aunque hice cosas estúpidas (como la pantalla en el ombligo que me la tuve que quitar para mis embarazos) terminé la universidad y soy una buena persona. Simplemente fui (y soy aún ) joven y me disfruté mi vida sanamente ;)

I like this mini a lot, I have pictures when got my first tattoo when I was 19 years old, My first car that I bought it on my own, my have actor and favorite music like HIM and Linkin Park, and I added the most happy of my memories that I used to hang out at Walgreens at midnight, I used to buy a chocolate milk and some lunchables and sit on the hood of my car to eat and read the lasted cosmo magazine. Those are the memories I wanted to share with my kids that even if I did a few stupid things (like my navel ring that I had to take off for my pregnancies) I finished college and I'm a good person. That I was young (and I'm still am) and that I enjoy life on a good way ;)

Así que ya saben busquen cualquier reto con Sketch y añádanlo como participación!

Yo escojí el sketch de Sketches: Creatively Yours, este blog es relativamente nuevo y este es su tercer reto. Mi página la hice de princesa pues esa foto es tan adorable!!! Ella es Amira Nicole y es mi ahijada. Una página sumamente sencilla para destacar la hermosa foto.

Hoy es un martes y por lo tanto hay un nuevo Sketch en Frosted Designs. Esta semana también creé el sketch que se utilizará en el reto. As;i que estoy muy contenta que a las chicas de Frosted Designs les haya gustado mu trabajo en sketches.

Bueno, Mu página la hice de mi graduación de cuarto año en el 2003. La foto es con muchas de mis mejores amigas pero también varios compañeros que aunque no eramous muy cercanos eran personas por las cuales me preocupo. Utilicé mi sketch casi a la perfección pues cuando lo hice así mismo quería que quedara mi página. Espero les guste.

Este es el tutorialde como hacer las flores del lay out Solo Tú

This are the flowers from my page “Solo Tu”

Necesitas / You need:

Ponchadores deflores, agua, tinta para distress, espigas para el centro

Flower punches, distress inks, water, and smallstem with a little seed ( I don’t know how it’s call in English sorry)

Ponchar 4 floresgrandes, 4 pequeñas y una verde para lashojas.

Punch 4 large flowers, 4 small and one greenfor the leaves.

Darle distress atodas las flores.

Distress all theflowers

Rociar todas lasflores con agua, que estén mojadas pero no muy empapadas

Mist the flowers with water, moist but notdamp.

Subir todos lospétalos hacia arriba y torcer la flor. Hacerlo con todas las flores

Pull all the petals up and twist the flower. Dothis to all flowers

Dejar secar lasflores por un minuto, Hasta que estén casi secas.

Let the flowers dry for a minute. Until theyare almost dry.

Abrir todas las flores.

Open all flowers

Luego Tomar cadapétalo de cada flor entre el dedo índice y el pulgar y con la otra mano torcerel pétalo como si lo fueras a romper pero sin romperlo, esto para que el pétalocoja vuelta. Hacer esto contodas las flores, grandes y pequeñas.

Grab each petal of the flower between thumb andforefinger and with the other hand twist the petal like if you where going tobreak it, but don’t do it too hard and break the petal. Do this step with everypetal of both big and small flowers.

Ahora agrupa las flores por tamaños y perfora un pequeño orificio en ambos grupos

Now group the flowers by size and make a small hole in each group of flowers

Añade pega al centro de las flores pequeñas y pasa las espigas en el centro, haz lo mismo con las flores grandes.

Add glue to the center hola of the small flowers and pass the stem thru, do the same with the bigger flowers.

Separa la flor verdeen tres pedazos de 2 petalos cada uno estos vas a ser tus hojas.

Split the green flower into three pieces of twopetals each, this are the leaves.

Al fina corta lo quesobra de la espiga y peg alas hojas.

Last cut of the stem and add the leaves.

Hoy hay un nuevo reto con sketch en Sketches in Thyme.

Utilizé una de las técnicas aprendidas en el Puerto Rico Scrapook Event 2011. Esta es de Trisha Ladoucer diseñadora para My Minds Eye. La ténica consite de hacer un mini album en la página. Es la primera vez que lo hago sola y no quise sobre cargarlo hasta que me sienta más cómoda haciendo esta técnica. Usé tres fotos 4x6 de Lola cuando tenía nueve meses (que????) si, aunque me gusta trabajar cronológicamente, hubo una lapso de tiempo (la era oscura) donde me puese a trabajar cualquier foto que encontrara. Así que estoy volviendo a mi rutina normal. Aquí la página, espero les guste y participen con nosotros.

Today there is a new Sketch at Sketches in Thyme.

I use a technique that I learned in Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event 2011. Id from Trisha Ladoucer designer form My Minds Eye. The technique is to make a mini album in a layout. Is the first time that I do this on my own and I didn't anted to overdo it so I kept it simple. I used 3 4x6 pictures of my daughter when she was 9 months (what?) yes, I normally am a cronological scraper but there was a time (the dark ages) that I used to scrap the first photo that I could find. Now I'm back to my normal routine. So here is my page, I hope you like it and join us on the challenge.

Nuevamente tengo el honor de ser la creadora del sketch que usarán estas próximas dos semanas. Esto de crear sketches me gusta mucho, y lo más fabuloso de todo es que aunque yo creé el sketch no lo seguí al pie de la letra!

La foto que usé es una de cuando todavía me reunía con mis mejores amigas, el mismo combo desde la escuela intermedia y muchas de ellas desde la escuela elemental. La foto es bien especial para mi pues fue la última salida de soltera que tuve, después de esto me casé y tuve a mi Lola por lo tanto mi vida dio un giro de 360 grados.

Today is Sketch Along Tuesdays at Frosted Designs!

I had again the honor to create the sketch that will be used for the next two weeks. I really like to create sketches and the best of all is that even if i made the sketch when I use it my creations aren't a compleate copy of the sketch!

I use a picture of one of the last hang outs with my best friends, some of us are together fro elementary school and some from middle school. The picture is special because was the last hang out with the girls before I married and gave birth to Lola, so my life gave a 360 degrees turn.

Well when mymojo is gone I pick my scrapbook magazines and flip them until I find somethingthat caught my eye. If that doesn't work I go to my statch of sketches and findone appealing and I start creating. Those twothings bring the mojo back!

Hola chicas;
hoy les comparto una página que hice para el reto de los maestros del Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event. De todos los maestros escogí a Margie, pues es bien girly y bien pink! El reto era usar su signature style.
Utilizé fotos de mi niñes hasta ya adulta con varios años de diferencia y lo titulé Metamorphosis. Esto muestra mi cambio de niña a mujer. Aun que mi trabajo no ganó, me sentí satisfecha con lo que hice, pues ver ese cambio me alegró la vida, ver como de una niñita rubia de ojos azules me convetí en una mujer morena de ojos azul-verdosos. Ver como mi cambio no solo fue físico si no espiritual. Que dejé de jugar muñecas para ser una rockera hasta el hueso, pero que ahora soy una madre cariñosa protectora y una persona muy amigable pues en mis años de joven adulta era la chica más imprudente del mundo. Mi metamorfósis ha sido visible tanto en cuerpo como en alma.

today I'm sharing with you a page that I made for Puerto Rico Scrapbook event Challenge. This challenge was to pick the teachers signature's style and create a project. I chose Margie because she is so girly and glittery and so pink! I use pictures from my childhood to my womanhood and I title the page Metamorphosis. My change from child to woman. My page didn't won, but I was satisfied because I saw my change, from a blond blue eyed girl to a brunette blue-green eyed woman. I saw my change, no just physical but spiritual. The change form playing with dolls to being a badass rocker, but now I'm a loving, protecting mother even an approachable person. Because in my teen and early twenties I was the most irritating girl ever. My metamorphosis have been in body and soul.

Easy Craft Projects The Challenges

Hola chicas hoy viernes tenemos ostro reto en el blod de Easy Crafts Projects.

El reto de estas próximas dos semanas es Color Dorado. Sí leíste bien color dorado. Ahora me imagino que están como yo "Que diablos voy a hacer con el color dorado?" Hola chicas aquí de nuevo un poco recuperada del Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event. Le cuento que estar los tres días de 8 am a 6 pm haciendo scrapbooking no es tan maravilloso como pensaba. Es super agodator y si lo que están enseñado no es tan bueno pues peor, te aburres y no sabes ni que hacer. Pero bueno lo sobreviví, Tim Holtz superó mis expectativas. Las demás maestras fueron muy simpáticas y amables.

En fin, el domingo regresé a mi casa casi a las 10 de la noche y coloqué mis bultos en mi scraproom y no los volví a tocar... todavía no he recogido LOL, esta página que hoy comparto con ustedes estaba hecha antes de irme a ese fin de semana de locura.

Esta página es de cuando mi Ian Andrés tenía 4 meses, Sí ya voy por su cuarto mes de vida haciendo su scrapbook y ahora mismo él tiene 19 meses (un poco atrás? nada que ver!!!) En el journaling le escribo sobre su desarrollo en esos 4 meses.

Hello everybody here back to reallity after the Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event. Let me tell you that three days of scraping from 8am to 6 pm isn't as wonderful as I thought it would be. Is really tiring, and if what they are teaching you isn't that great well you get bored and there is nothing to do. But I survived! I have to tell you that Tim Holtz exceeded my expectations. Wonderful and talented guy. The other teachers were sweet and lovely.

Anyway, that Sunday I arrived home at 10 PM and put my scraping stuff in my scraproom and I haven't organized it yet. So this page I'm going to show you I made it before leaving for the Event.
The Page is about Ian Andrés when he was 4 moths old, yes I'm scraping his 4 month old pics and he's right now 19 month old. ( a little behind? Hell no hahaha) In the journaling there is his developement in that month.

Computer Problems???

¿Quién no ha tenido problemas con su computadora? Los mio son ya agrande escala pues mi Laptop de 3 años dañó el disco duro, Gracias a Dios que le hago el back up a la computadora bien seguido sino hubiese perdido TODO! Bueno Como todos tenemos estos problemas de vez en cuando Lola no es la excepción. Mi chica es toda una chica virtual jajajaj. A tan solo tres años, sabe prender y apagar la computadora, va hasta su ícono y abre su perfil en la computadora. Pero esto no siempre fue así. Esta página es para recordar en enero 2010 cuando de regalo de navidad le trajeron una Computadora de niños, su cara vale más de mil palabras.

Who haven't had computer problems? Mine are up scale, since my 3 year old laptop had a damaged hard disk, thank God i always do back up. Well we all have problem and Lola isn't the exception. My girl is a cyber girl, at 3 yrs old she know how to start the computer and click her log in. But this wasn't always like that. So here is a page that I made to remember Jan 2010 when she received a kid computer for a Christmas present. Here face speaks a thousand words.

muchas veces uno se pregunta que es la amistad, si realmente una amigo es alguien que está a tu lado todo el tiempo o si se puede contar como amigos a aquellas personas que ya no están a tu lado pero aún en la distancia esos lazos de amistad no se deterioran.
Esto es algo que me pregunto a diario. En mis años de escuela, siempre estaba con el mismo grupo de amistades, una vez nos graduamos todos tomamos diferentes rumbos. Una vez me casé y tuve mis hijos, me he distanciado cada vez más de esas amistades pues ya mi tiempo es consumido por mi familia. Pero esas amistades aunque estén lejos siempre están ahí. Con un simple mensaje de texto un email o simplemente un mensaje en mi "wall" (si tienes Facebook sabes de lo que hablo) es lo suficiente para saber que aunque ellos están lejos con sus propias vidas, yo estoy presente en sus pensamientos... y ellos en los míos.

Hoy les comparto una pagina que hice para recordar uno de mis buenos amigos. Nos conocimos en el cuart grado en el salón de la Sra. Silvestry. El callado en su mundo y yo alborotando en el mundo de todos. Su admiración por mi fue de un amor a primera vista y el mio de un compañero en travesuras. Su amor por mi cambio en los años de uno platónico a uno de mejor amiga y confidente. El mio fue creciendo en confianza y lealtad. Ahora el esta estudiando su maestría en Washington DC y yo soy ama de casa en Hormigueros Puerto Rico y aunque nos separa un mar, la amistad sigue igual de fuerte.

Hello everybody;
Often I wonder what friendship is, if a friend is someone who is by your side all the time or if it can count as friends people who are no longer on your side, but still in the distance these ties of friendship do not deteriorate.
This is something I wonder every day. In my school years, I was always with the same group of friends, once we graduated we all took different paths. Once I got married and had my children, I have become increasingly estranged from my friends since my time is consumed by my family. But those friendships even when they are away they are always there. With a simple text message or simply email a message on my "wall " (if you have Facebook, you know what I mean) is enough to know that while they are away living their own lives, I'm in their thoughts and they are on mine.

Today I share a page I made to remember one of my good friends. We met in the fourth grade classroom of Ms. Silvestry. He was quiet in his own world and I gibberish in everybody's world. His admiration for me was love at first sight, mine for him was of a partner incrime. His love for my change in the years from a platonic lobe to best friend and confidante. Mine grew in confidence and loyalty. Now he is studying his masters in Washington DC and I am a stay at home mom in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico and even with an ocean between us, our friendship is just as strong.

Hoy es martes por lo que hay un nuevo sketch en Sketch Along Tuesdays @ Frosted Designs.

La página que les comparto hoy, es una que, me llena de sentimientos, pues es usando fotos de Lola y Toby, Para las que no saben, Toby fue mi perrito que murió por complicaciones de salud el pasado 6 de diciembre de 2010. Toby nació dos meses después de Lola y así mismo fueron creciendo el uno con el otro como si fueran hermanos. Así que cuando saqué estas fotos no solo me puse triste al recordarlo pero también reí mucho pues ellos hacías sus travesuras juntos.

Así que aquí les dejo con mi página y espero que también sonrían, pues Toby estuvo con nosotros poco tiempo pero ese tiempo fue de calidad, mucho amor y mucha alegría.

Today is Tuesdays so that mean another sketch on Sketch Along Tuesdays @ Frosted Designs. The page that I made using the sketch is one that makes me go in a hurricane of emotions, because is using pictures of Lola and Toby. For the ones that doesn't know Toby was my pet but he died of health complications on Dic 6 2010. Toby was born two month after Lola, so the grew together like siblings. When I saw the pictures a was sad but also laugh at how many things they did together.

So here is my page, I hope it makes you smile, Toby was with us for a short time, but in that time we loved him and share beautiful memories.

My first tutorial

Hey girls this is my first tutorial for the Sunday Tutorial @ Frosted Designs blog

What you need:

Transparencies: from any office supply store
Puffy paint: Liquid pearls and dimensional pearls, fabric paint. etc
Swirls template: I bought a few bling swirls and scan them and print them to have my templates, but you can use stitch templates available on the internet or any gem or rhinestone template will do. Also you can make it using templates of butterflies, crown, hearts etc.
Scissors or craft knife.

Take you template and put it under the transparency

Place paint in the transparency on top of each circle. Squeeze the bottle of paint gently, always adding small amount at a time, because if you need more you can add it, if you don't like the dot of paint, grab a cotton swab and wipe the transparency clean and do it again.

Once you make the whole template, allow to dry from 20 to 30 minutes. That depends on the size of the dots of paint. I usually do a lot of them and let them dry overnight. After the paint is dry and hard, cut around the edges, really close to the dots so there is not much of the transparency to see.

Here is the finished result. I use paper thin glue dots to adhere them to my pages. Cut the glue dot if it's too big and put it in the transparency where the bigger dost are.

 from Vicente Fernández talks about when a man is going to be a dad he want a boy but if he gets a

¿Saben? creo que nunca les he contado como comencé en este hobby. Las más cercanas a mí lo saben, pero hoy quiero compartirles mi historia.

El día que nació mi Lola en abril 2008, recibí una tarjeta hecha a mano dándole la bienvenida a mi pequeña. Quedé encantada y quería saber más sobre ese hobby. Luego en Agosto de 2008, estoy madrugando con Lola y veo este infomercial de una máquina para scrapbook Cricut. Si quería saber más sobre el hobby, al ver este programa pagado quedé activa! Así que de regalo de cumpleaños (Agosto 11) me compro la maquinita, que me salió un ojo de la cara (la experssion me salió más barata) Pues en septiembre me llega la máquina, y digo"Ok cómo vas a hacer scrapbooking sin papeles? Pues voy a Walmart y compro las dos libretas genéricas que hay, compro pega y tijeras de diseño. Así que el 16 de septiembre de 2008 hice mi primera página, y el resto es historia...

Las dejo con mi primera página humilde y sencilla, pero al verla me recuerda que TODOS en algún momento fuimos principiantes...

You know? I think I never had share with you how I started in this hobby. Closer friends know the story, so I'm going to tell it to you.

The day Lola was born on April 2008, I received a handmade card Welcoming Lola to the world. I loved the card a lot and I was curios about the hobby. Then on August 2008 I was up early with Lola and saw an infomercial of a scrapbook machine called Cricut. I wanted to know more about the hobby, this paid programming sold me the hobby. I ordered the Cricut as a b-day gift (August 11) which it cost me a LOT!, (the expression was cheaper that the personal). So on early September the machine arrived and I had nothing to scrapbook. So I went to my local Walmart and bought two generic paper pads and some glue and a few decorative scissors. Then on September 166, 2008 I made my first page, and the rest is history...

Here is my first page is humble and simple, but every time I see this page I remember that EVERYBODY in some point of life were beginners...

Hola Chicas,

Les cuento que he estado trabajando mucho, poniendo al día todas esas fotos que tenía atrasadas y ya tengo que imprimir más fotos para seguir trabajando! Pero esto en un círculo que nunca cierra pues la última vez que imprimí fotos fue en abril 2010 por lo tanto tengo todo una año atrasado. Por eso me encantan los retops pues me obligan a trabajar.

Hoy les comparto una tarjeta de niño. No son muchos los niños entre nuestras amistades pero nunca está demás, pues de momento siembre aparece algo y uno tiene con qué resolver.

Let me tell you that I've been working a lot and almost finished my stack of pics. I have to print new photos, which I haven't done since April last year, so I'm still a year behind but I'm getting there. That's why I love challenges so much. Challenges make me work.

Les cuento mi odisea de todas las ocaciones especiales, siempre quiero enviar tarjetas pero nunca lo hago. ¿Por qué? Porque siempre empiezo a hacer las tarjetas y nunca las termino. No me dá el tiempo, por lo tanto quise empezar con antelación pues este año el Día de las Madres es el 8 de mayo. Así que como me gustan los Retos y esto me pone a trabajar, estoy haciendo mis tarjetitas para madres. ¿ Por qué no haces tú lo mismo? Si lo haces me escribes para ver tu creación!

Let me tell you something, in every special occasion or holiday I want to make cards and send them to special family and friends, but I never do it. Why? Todavía esstoy trabajando fotos de Ian cuando nació y él ya tiene 16 meses! Todavía no he pasado de su tercer mes! Pero bueno para eso es este hobby para disfrutarse recordando esos momentos. Hoy les comparto una página que hice cuando Lolita fue a visitar a su hermanito en el hospital cuando éste nació. Ella estaba loca por conocer el bebé que estaba "en la panza de mamá". Utilicé el sketch de esta semana de Frsoted Designs:
